At 876 Laundry, we are committed to providing high-quality laundry services. This Return & Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a rewash, credit, or refund in accordance with our customer commitments and the fairness principles under Jamaica's Consumer Protection Act.
Requests made after this period will not be considered.
We will consider a rewash, credit, or refund if:
An item was damaged while in our care, and the damage was not due to a pre-existing condition.
An item is missing, confirmed against our intake records.
The cleaning result is unsatisfactory (e.g., unremoved stains that should reasonably come out in a standard wash).
The wrong order was delivered.
Email 876@laundrylab.org within the claim window.
Provide the following information:
For damage or unsatisfactory cleaning: The item must be returned to us for inspection.
Depending on the issue, we may:
Rewash the affected item(s) at no extra cost
Provide a credit toward your next order
Offer a refund to your original payment method
Note: The resolution offered will be at our discretion, based on the nature of the issue.
We cannot offer returns, credits, or refunds if:
Pre-existing Defects: Damage results from a pre-existing defect (e.g., weak seams, colour fading, broken zippers).
Unsuitable Items: Items are unsuitable for machine washing/tumble drying but were sent in for standard service.
Force Majeure: Delays are due to events beyond our control (e.g., bad weather, strikes).
Count Discrepancies: Discrepancies are based on customer-reported counts that differ from our official intake record.
Any compensation for lost or damaged items will follow our Limitation of Liability policy:
Maximum per Item
Ten (10) times the cleaning cost of the affected item
Order Cap
J$20,000 per order
All claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery or pickup notification. Late requests cannot be processed.
